The Timberlake Christian Tornadoes fought the good fight in their overtime  matchup against the Faith Christian Warriors  on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They were just a bucket shy of victory  and fell  56-55 to the Warriors. The  loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Timberlake Christian in their matchups with Faith Christian: they've now lost four in a row.
 When it comes to explaining why Timberlake Christian lost, one person who can't be blamed is  Sawyer Epps. Despite the final result, he  scored 16 points. Another player making a difference was  Woo Kang, who  scored 9 points.
 Faith Christian was led to victory by  Landon Newton and  Matthew Burton.  Newton  scored 21 points, while  Burton  scored 22 points. The  game was  Burton's fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Cooper Childress, who  scored 4 points along with 6  rebounds.
 Timberlake Christian bumped their record down to 0-4 with that  loss, which was their third straight  on the road. As for Faith Christian, they now  have a winning record of 3-2.
 Timberlake Christian will be playing in front of their home fans against Temple Christian at 7:00  p.m.  on Monday. As for Faith Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Dayspring Christian Academy at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
