Pingree gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They blew past the St. Paul's Big Red 7-1. For the Highlanders, this counts as revenge for the 7-6 victory the Big Red walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

St. Paul's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Pingree will square off against Thayer Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for St. Paul's, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Groton School at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
