Syracuse is 4-0 against Eads since December of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Syracuse Bulldogs will look to defend their home court against the Eads Eagles at 6:00 p.m. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Tuesday, Syracuse beat Cheyenne Wells 44-34. The win was just what Syracuse needed coming off of a 62-39 loss in their prior contest.
Meanwhile, Eads escaped with a win on Tuesday against Elkhart by the margin of a single free throw, 46-45. The win made it back-to-back wins for Eads.
Among those leading the charge was Porter Spady, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 12 rebounds. Case Nelson was another key contributor, scoring 10 points along with 8 rebounds and 4 blocks.
The victory got Syracuse back to even at 1-1. As for Eads, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.
Syracuse strolled past Eads when the teams last played back in December of 2022 by a score of 44-26. Will Syracuse repeat their success, or does Eads have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
