Pine Bush had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5 runs) and they went ahead and made it seven on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Chester Hambletonians with a sharp 11-4 win. The result was nothing new for the Bushmen, who have now won eight contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Pine Bush's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-2. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.5 runs over those games. As for Chester, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-7 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pine Bush will face off against Marlboro Central at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Chester, they will challenge Roosevelt at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
