It was a good run, but Victoria West unfortunately witnessed the end of their eight-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 53-42 to the Victoria East Titans. The Warriors were probably out for revenge after losing 71-40 to them when the teams met back in January, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Victoria West's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 10-5. As for Victoria East, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Victoria West will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Gonzales at 12:00 p.m. on December 30th. As for Victoria East, they will head out to challenge Terry at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
