Murray County lost against Fannin County back in October of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Indians fell just short of the Rebels by a score of 2-1. The Indians' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Kenzi Fritts paced Murray County's offense, picking up four kills. Fritts were helped by Jordyn Farmer and Josie Jones, who contributed six assists each. Elyssa Matchett controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Murray County's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Fannin County, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.

Murray County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Pepperell on the 23rd. As for Fannin County, they have also already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Sand Rock on the 23rd.
