Pender won the last time they faced Lyons-Decatur Northeast and things went their way on Thursday too. The Pendragons walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Cougars. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Pendragons.

Myra Hansen paced Pender's offense, picking up seven kills. Hansen got some help from Hadley Walsh and her 16 assists. Hansen was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Pender's win bumped their record up to 15-10. As for Lyons-Decatur Northeast, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-18 record this season.

Pender didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Clarkson/Leigh on the 16th. As for Lyons-Decatur Northeast, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against West Point-Beemer on the 18th.
