 Apex had a senior duo take command as  Destiny Richardson  dropped  a double-double on 11 points and 12  rebounds and  Isabella Pease  scored eight points along with 13  rebounds and two  blocks. Richardson has been hot recently, having posted nine or more  rebounds the last five times she's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Sarah Bess Eskridge, who  scored three points along with two  steals.
 Green Hope has  been struggling recently as they've  lost six of their last seven matchups,  which put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record  this season. As for Apex, their win bumped their record up to 10-12.
 Green Hope's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Cary at 4:30  p.m.  on February 16th. Hopefully Cary focused on turnovers this week  since the team gave up seven on Tuesday. As for Apex, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Holly Springs at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. Holly Springs is coming into the  match with 11 straight  defeats on the road,  meaning Apex will have to defend against a  squad hungry for a  victory.
