Wynterlee Glenn made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out ten over seven innings pitched. Glenn has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive pitching appearances. Glenn was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with two RBI and a double.
In other batting news, Falls Lake got a big performance out of Reagan Yancey, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Khloe Massengill, who scored three runs while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
NCSSM: Durham's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Falls Lake, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-7.
