The Delavan Panthers won the last time they faced the Mt. Pulaski Hilltoppers, and things went their way on Friday too. Delavan strolled past Mt. Pulaski with points to spare, taking the game 53-36. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Delavan.
Cooper Hansen was his usual excellent self, scoring 20 points along with five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Micah Brockhouse, who scored 15 points.
Delavan now has a winning record of 12-11. As for Mt. Pulaski, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-13.
Delavan's road trip will continue as they head out to face Illini Central at 4:00 p.m. on January 27th. As for Mt. Pulaski, they will be playing in front of their home fans against St. Teresa at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
