Hulbert is a perfect 4-0 against Webbers Falls since March of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Riders will face off against the Warriors at 4:00 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Hulbert barely beat Colcord the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Riders were the clear victors by a 9-2 margin over the Hornets on Thursday. The game was the first time the Riders have beaten the Hornets on their field since March 18, 2024.

Weston Jenkins and Logan Beeler made a big impact no matter where they played. On the mound, Jenkins pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Beeler didn't allow a single earned run while striking out ten over five innings pitched. Those ten strikeouts gave him a new career-high. At bat, Jenkins got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs, while Beeler went 2-for-3 with one double.
In other batting news, Luke Kubisch was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Caleb Clinton was another key player, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.
Nine must be Webbers Falls' lucky number: they beat Wilson-Henryetta with that score not once but twice on Monday. The Warriors didn't even let the Tigers on the board, marking the Warriors' second-straight 9-0 shutout. The victory was familiar territory for the Warriors, who have now won three matchups in a row.
Like Hulbert, Webbers Falls also got a great game from a two-way player: Gunner Shelby. He kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out ten over four innings pitched. Shelby has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. He has become a key player for Webbers Falls: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 1-2 otherwise.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Brutus Robinson, who earned two RBI, two runs, and two stolen bases. He is becoming a predictor of Webbers Falls' success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 1-2 when he doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of Trysten Wilbourn, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one run.
Everything went Hulbert's way against Webbers Falls in their previous matchup back in March of 2025, as Hulbert made off with a 17-3 win. Do the Riders have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Warriors turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
