Humboldt's win came from a few key players Southeast will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Skylar Hottenstein, who had eight digs and three aces. She is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last six games she's played.
Humboldt's victory bumped their record up to 32-9. As for Southeast, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-24.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Saturday's matchup: Southeast has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 5.9 aces per game. However, it's not like Humboldt struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 7.6 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
