Salem Baptist Christian's loss on Friday came despite strong showings from Garrett Trinkle and Eli Hedrick. Trinkle scored nine points along with ten rebounds, while Hedrick scored 12 points. Trinkle scored a full 33.3% of Salem Baptist Christian's points, the tenth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Brandon Lloyd, who scored three points along with ten rebounds.
The victory got Hickory Christian Academy back to even at 7-7. As for Salem Baptist Christian, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-13.
