Hutchison wasn't the only one making solid contact as three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Sarah Park, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and one double.
Whitney Young pushed their record up to 23-10-1 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Niles West, their loss dropped their record down to 10-16.
