Ecorse took a 42-point defeat the last time they faced off against Michigan Collegiate, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Raiders skirted past the Cougars 18-16. The Raiders' win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Ecorse's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Michigan Collegiate, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ecorse will square off against Mt. Clemens at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Raiders will be up against the Battling Bathers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 26 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Michigan Collegiate, they will challenge Old Redford Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
