The Kossuth Aggies won the last time they faced the Wheeler Eagles, and things went their way on Saturday too. Kossuth managed a 47-41 victory over Wheeler.
Wheeler's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Emma Kate Beckham, who scored 19 points. The contest was Beckham's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Alayna Partlow, who scored 11 points.
Kossuth is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. As for Wheeler, their loss dropped their record down to 5-5.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kossuth will take on New Site at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. New Site is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games. As for Wheeler, they have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Tremont at 6:00 p.m. on December 5th.
