Brunswick scored the most points they've had this season on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 60-59 to the Oceanside Mariners. The Dragons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mariners apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2017.

Oceanside got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Conner Kingsbury out in front who went 6 for 14 on his way to 17 points and three steals. Kingsbury is crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Reid Robishaw, who posted 14 points and eight rebounds.

Brunswick now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Oceanside, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-4.

Brunswick didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 54-52 defeat against Mt. Ararat on the 9th. As for Oceanside, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 68-58 loss against Camden Hills on the 11th.
