Westside won the last time they faced Southwest and things went their way  on Saturday too. The Westside Seminoles simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Southwest Patriots 56-22. The Seminoles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight  contests by 20  points or more this season.
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Westside to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Domonique Billue, who  went 9 for 22  on her way to 20 points in addition to six  boards and five  assists. Billue is also crushing it when it comes to  steals: she's   grabbed at least two every time she's  taken the court this season.  Destiny Spencer was another key player,  dropping  a double-double on 13  points and ten  rebounds.
 Despite the loss, Southwest still got an impressive performance from   Shakiya Dean, who  posted eight points.
The  win (which was Westside's fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-7. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 23.3 points per game. As for Southwest,  they are  on  a  six-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-11.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Westside will head out to  face off against Morgan County  at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Morgan County will roll in looking for their  sixth straight  victory, something Westside surely won't give up without a fight. As for Southwest, they and Northeast will meet in a classic North v. South matchup  at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
