Lumen Christi comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 22 points in their last three games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
Lumen Christi suffered their biggest loss since December 15, 2023 on Saturday. They were beaten by Minto 55-22. While losing is never fun, Lumen Christi can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alaska basketball rankings (they are ranked 62nd, while Minto is ranked fourth).
Meanwhile, Birchwood Christian was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Saturday as they fell 56-50 to Walter Northway.
Lumen Christi's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Birchwood Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 6-2.
Lumen Christi didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Birchwood Christian in their previous matchup back in March of 2023, but they still walked away with a 37-33 win.
