Several Cardinals players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was William Salgat, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds and two steals. That was a full 34.8% of Michigan Lutheran Seminary's points, marking the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Logan Broekhuizen, who scored 11 points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
Hemlock is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-6 record this season. As for Michigan Lutheran Seminary, they dropped their record down to 6-6 with that loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.
