Irvine (Calif.) had a comfortable lead entering the fourth quarter, but used six fourth quarter points to seal the 23-0 victory over
Magnolia (Anaheim, Calif.).
After taking the lead on a field goal in the second quarter, the Vaqueros were up 9-0 at the half.
Irvine grew its lead to 17 points entering the fourth quarter. IHS's lone score in the quarter came on a
Justin Miller touchdown run.
The Vaqueros came into the game allowing 17.3 points per game.
The defeat comes as a step back for Magnolia, who notched a 24-17 victory over Segerstrom in its previous outing.
