The Los Gatos Wildcats will be playing at home against the Palo Alto Vikings at 7:45 p.m. on Saturday. Los Gatos will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.
Last Thursday, Los Gatos didn't have too much trouble with Gunn on the road as they won 66-49. Given Los Gatos' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 89th, while Gunn is ranked 380th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Los Gatos' success was spearheaded by the efforts of Nolan G. koch, who scored 21 points along with seven rebounds, and Scotty Brennan, who scored 25 points along with five rebounds and three blocks. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Brennan has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Ronan Chinmulgund, who scored five points along with nine rebounds and two steals.
Palo Alto posted their closest win yet this season on Thursday. They skirted past Mountain View 45-43. The win made it back-to-back wins for Palo Alto.
Los Gatos has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season. As for Palo Alto, their win bumped their record up to 13-4.
Los Gatos skirted past Palo Alto 36-34 in their previous matchup back in February of 2023. Will Los Gatos repeat their success, or does Palo Alto have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
