After soaring high against North Raleigh Christian Academy last Friday, Icarus fell to the ground on Friday. Cannon ended up on the wrong side of a painful 6-27 walloping at Mitchell hands. If Cannon were expecting payback for the 14-27 loss against Mitchell the last time the teams met, then they were shortchanged. The game leaves both teams with the exact same record at 1-1.
Next week, Cannon take on Christ School at 7:00 PM. As for Mitchell, they will face of against Trinity Academy.
