Philip was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight  defeat  dating back to last season. They lost  3-0 to the Kadoka Kougars. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Scotties of the  3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in September of 2024.
 The final score came out to 25-10, 25-11,  25-9.
Philip's offense was headlined by  Kaydence Eisenbraun and  Kale Peterson, who picked up three kills apiece. They got some help from  Memphis Konst and her five assists.
Philip's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Kadoka, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.
