Daingerfield hasn't had much luck against Jefferson recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Tigers will welcome the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. Jefferson took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Daingerfield, who comes in off a win.
Daingerfield lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Harmony, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Tuesday's game. The Tigers were the clear victors by an 8-2 margin over the Eagles on Tuesday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Tigers as it put an end to their six-game losing streak.
Khloe Stroman spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on seven hits.

On the hitting side, Daingerfield got a massive performance out of Gracie Deleon, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with five stolen bases and two runs. Those five stolen bases gave Deleon a new career-high. Kaidence Mason was another key player, going 3-for-5 with five stolen bases and two runs.
Meanwhile, Jefferson scored first but ultimately less than Hughes Springs in their contest on Tuesday. They took an 8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mustangs. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Mustangs recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.
Jefferson saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rayleigh Gulk, who went 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI.
Jefferson's loss dropped their record down to 9-15. As for Daingerfield, their win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 9-12.
Friday's matchup might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Daingerfield has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .448. However, it's not like Jefferson struggles in that department as they've averaged .441. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Daingerfield skirted past Jefferson 6-4 in their previous matchup back in April of 2025. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
