Parma was the  7-2 winner over Filer when they last played one another  on Friday, but their luck changed this time around. The Parma Panthers fell just short of the Filer Wildcats by a score of  10-9 on Friday.
  Taylor Gonzales and  Braxton Heffelfinger did some serious damage despite the final result:  Gonzales  scored a  run while going 1-for-2, while  Heffelfinger  went 2-for-4 with a  triple, a  stolen base,  and a  run. The team also got some help courtesy of  Kaden Cole, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-3.
 Even though they lost, Parma  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 11  hits. That's the most  hits they've managed all season.
 On Filer's side,  Rylan Browner was  incredible,  scoring a  run and  stealing two bases while going 3-for-4. Browner has been hot recently, having posted  at least one  stolen base the last three times he's  played. Another player making a difference was  Drayson Smith, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 1-for-3.
 Parma's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Filer, their win bumped their record up to 4-5.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Parma will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Payette at 3:00  p.m.  on Monday. As for Filer, they will have some time to savor their  victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Jerome at 4:00  p.m.  on April 2nd.
