After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Beggs, Spiro was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Heavener Wolves as they made off with a 16-6 win. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won eight games by seven runs or more so far this season.

With the victory, Spiro broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 10-9. As for Heavener, they dropped their record down to 5-15 with the loss, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.

Spiro didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 11-2 defeat against Eufaula on the 17th. Heavener has also already played their next match (against Smithville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
