At the plate, Highland saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kamilla Baltazar, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.
Meanwhile, Sanger made easy work of Justin Garza on Friday and carried off a 13-0 win. The Apaches might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by six runs or more this season.
Amber Estrada made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out eight over five innings pitched. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
In other batting news, Brea Poindexter was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, six RBI, and three runs. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Samantha Guerra, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2.

Highland has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-3-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Sanger, they pushed their record up to 10-4 with the win, which was their third straight at home.
Both Highland and Sanger just can't seem to miss. The Scots have been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.3 hits per game. However, it's not like Sanger struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 4.8 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance. Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
