Baseball Recap: Bradley Wins Going Away Against Lafayette County

Bradley won the last time they faced Lafayette County and things went their way on Monday too. The Bears were the clear victors by a 12-4 margin over the Cougars. The result was nothing new for the Bears, who have now won seven matches by eight runs or more so far this season.

Bradley has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.3 runs over those games. As for Lafayette County, they dropped their record down to 2-9 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Bradley is set to face off against their familiar foe Bearden at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Lafayette County will challenge rival Taylor at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
