Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Red Level). They put the hurt on McKenzie with a sharp 20-1 win on Tuesday. Considering Red Level has won five games by more than nine runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Caroline Blackwell was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over five innings pitched. What's more, she gave up only zero walks, the fewest she's had since back in April of 2024. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-5 with two RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Emmie Snider, who scored four runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Amaya Williams, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-4.
Red Level kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as McKenzie only managed five hits.
