King's Academy will challenge the Fort Wayne HomeSchool Hawks at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Having struggled with three defeats in a row, King's Academy turned things around against Varsity Opponent on Friday. They claimed a resounding 69-42 win over Varsity Opponent.

It was another big night for Gavin Ruberg, who dropped a double-double on 37 points and 12 boards. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in blocks (three). Another player making a difference was Jaiden Miles, who almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine rebounds.
Meanwhile, Fort Wayne HomeSchool posted their biggest victory since October 26, 2024 on Thursday. They put the hurt on Mishawaka HomeSchool W with a sharp 68-43 win. Given the Hawks' advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 77th, while the Wildcats are ranked 404th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
King's Academy better keep an eye on Trevon Maley. He was instrumental in Fort Wayne HomeSchool's win, going 7 for 10 from beyond the arc on his way to 32 points in addition to eight boards and three blocks. Maley's evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Isaiah Krawczyk was another key player, going 6 of 10 en route to 14 points and four steals.
Fort Wayne HomeSchool was working as a unit and finished the game with 19 assists. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their assist total in three consecutive games.
Fort Wayne HomeSchool pushed their record up to 19-6 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. As for King's Academy, their win bumped their record up to 6-11.
Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as both are some of the highest scoring teams in the league. King's Academy hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 56.3 points per game. However, it's not like Fort Wayne HomeSchool struggles in that department as they've been averaging 66.3 points. With both teams so easily able to put up points, the only question left is who can run the score up higher.
