The Geneva Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the Chardon Hilltoppers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Chardon took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Geneva, who comes in off a win.
It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Geneva ultimately got the result they hoped for on Saturday. It was close, but they ultimately received the gift of a 70-68 victory from a begrudging Eaglessquad. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Meanwhile, Chardon suffered a tough 70-46 loss at the hands of Madison on Thursday.
Geneva now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Chardon, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
Geneva came up short against Chardon in their previous meeting back in December of 2022, falling 68-64. Can Geneva avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
