The Archbishop Alter Knights will challenge the Shawnee Braves at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Shawnee took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Archbishop Alter, who comes in off a win.
On Tuesday, Archbishop Alter beat Wilmington 4-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Knights.
Owen Tishaus spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on four hits. He is becoming a predictor of Archbishop Alter's success: when he allows at most one earned run the team is 3-1 (and 5-14 when he doesn't).

Meanwhile, Shawnee fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Graham Local on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Falcons by a score of 4-3. The Braves haven't had much luck with the Falcons recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two hits in five consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
Ross wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Kaiden Roeder, who went 1-for-3 with one run.
Archbishop Alter's victory bumped their record up to 8-15. As for Shawnee, their loss dropped their record down to 5-13.
