Cherokee got themselves on the board against Cambridge on Monday, but Cambridge never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Bears with a sharp 20-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won six contests by 20 points or more so far this season.

It was another big night for Gracie Mayo, who threw for 110 yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 52 yards. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in passer rating (120.1).

Cherokee has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 5.5 points on average over those games. As for Cambridge, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5.

Cherokee wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 13-12 victory against Denmark on the 20th. As for Cambridge, they will challenge Blessed Trinity at 6:30 p.m. on the 29th.
