The Northview Titans stacked an 11th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They blew past Forsyth Central 58-17 at home. Given Northview's advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 151st, while Forsyth Central is ranked 416th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Northview found their leader in underclassman Tamariana Bivins, who scored 30 points along with six rebounds and six steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Bivins has scored all season. Milan Johnson was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Northview pushed their record up to 14-5 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.3 points per game. As for Forsyth Central, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-17.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northview will challenge North Springs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Forsyth Central, they will head out on the road to challenge Milton at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Milton is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 66.4 points per game.
