The win was all the more spectacular given White Plains' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 130th, while Jacksonville is ranked 41st).
Despite the defeat, Jacksonville had strong showings from Aaron Nixon, who scored 16 points along with nine rebounds, and KyDric Fisher, who scored 14 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Fisher has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jaquan Ervin, who scored 12 points.
White Plains is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-8 record this season. As for Jacksonville, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 19-6.
