The Uintah Utes lost against the Provo Bulldogs back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Uintah took a 45-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs.
When it comes to explaining why Uintah lost, one person who can't be blamed is Zoey Glenn. Despite the final result, she scored 12 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Glenn also posted two blocks for the first time this season. Mackenzie White was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with two steals.
Uintah's loss dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Provo, their victory bumped their record up to 8-13.
Uintah will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Timberwolves at 5:15 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Utah (Timpanogos is ranked 111th, while the Utes are ranked 103rd). As for Provo, they will head out on the road to challenge the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
