Plainfield hasn't had much luck against Mooresville recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Quakers will host the Pioneers at 5:30 p.m. Plainfield's pitching crew has only allowed 3.1 runs per game this season, so Mooresville's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
Plainfield is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on Ben Davis with a sharp 14-4 win on Monday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Quakers needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.
Ryan Garver looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up three earned runs off only two hits. He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Plainfield is undefeated when he allows at most one walk, but 8-10 otherwise.
