The Southeast Alamance Stallions will venture away from home to face off against the Northwood Chargers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Northwood will be up against a hot Southeast Alamance team: the squad just extended their winning streak to four. Southeast Alamance took their game on Friday with ease, bagging a 49-19 win over Chatham Central. The team ran away with 45 points in the first half and mostly just sat on those to pick up the victory.

Southeast Alamance relied on the efforts of Shaniya Paylor, who posted 12 points along with seven steals and five rebounds, and Rreanna Johnson, who earned 14 points and four steals. With that strong performance, Johnson is now averaging an impressive 2.1 steals per game. Another player making a difference was Inysia McIver, who put up eight points in addition to six boards and three steals.
Meanwhile, you can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Northwood's strategy against North Moore on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Northwood blew North Moore out of the water with a 68-22 final score. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 40-15.
Southeast Alamance better keep an eye on Neah Henry. She was instrumental in Northwood's win, almost dropping a double-double on 12 points and nine steals. The dominant performance gave Henry a new career-high in steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Shaylah Glover, who scored seven points along with nine rebounds and four steals.
Southeast Alamance is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.9 points per game. As for Northwood, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-4.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Southeast Alamance has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 30.9 boards per game. However, it's not like Northwood struggles in that department as they've been averaging 35.7 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Southeast Alamance beat Northwood 58-49 in their previous matchup back in December of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Southeast Alamance since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
