In what's become a running theme this season, the Altamont Indians gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. Everything went their way against Brownstown/St. Elmo as Altamont made off with a 61-40 win. The score was close at the half, but Altamont pulled away in the second half with 34 points.
Altamont's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kaidyn Miller, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 14 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Kade Milleville, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds and two blocks.
Altamont is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season. As for Brownstown/St. Elmo, their loss dropped their record down to 20-7.
Altamont didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 43-30 defeat vs. Tuscola on the 10th. Brownstown/St. Elmo has also already played their next match, a 63-32 defeat against Warrensburg-Latham on the 10th.
