Rimiez Williams Delivers Best Effort of Season
Hertford County was led to victory by Rimiez Williams, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Williams picked up 83 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 53 yards and two touchdowns. The bulk of those receiving yards came from one huge play: a catch that gained an incredible 72 yards.
Hertford County's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-5. Williams and Hertford County will host Manteo at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Holmes was led to victory by Amaree Jackson, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Jackson rushed for 165 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries. He is becoming a predictor of Holmes' success: when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns the team is 3-1 (and 1-3 when he doesn't).

Northeastern pushed their record up to 8-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. Jones and Northeastern will square off against Currituck County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
