Merritt had a rough outing against Hooker last week, but a little bit of home cooking seems to have fixed things right up. Merritt enjoyed a cozy 15-0 victory over Mooreland. Merritt have a history of success against Mooreland, winning their last head-to-head 15-0.
The win bumped Merritt's record up to 2-1. The loss dropped Mooreland back to even at 1-1.
Merritt will have some time to rest before their next matchup, which is against Cordell in two weeks at 7:00 PM. Merritt will be strutting in after a win while Cordell will be stumbling in from a defeat. As for Mooreland, they will face off against Sayre.
