If the Grace Christian Warriors were riding high off their 84-39 takedown of the Boys' Home Hilltoppers last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Grace Christian was the victim of a tough 76-50 defeat at the hands of the Dragons on Tuesday. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Grace Christian in their matchups with the Dragons: they've now lost five in a row.
Despite the loss, Grace Christian still got an impressive performance from Justin Hain, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and ten rebounds. Hain hasn't dropped below 20 points for seven straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Davis Reid, who scored eight points along with six assists and two steals.
Grace Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Stuart Hall, they pushed their record up to 10-3 with that victory, which was their third straight at home.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Grace Christian will take on the Crusaders at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Stuart Hall, they will be playing at home against the Sabers at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The New Community School has now lost eight straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 1.
