Volleyball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Abington Heights

Abington Heights entered their tilt with Valley View on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Cougars 3-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Comets also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.

Abington Heights never let Valley View on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-7, 25-12, 25-22.

Among those leading the charge was Madison Smith, who had six digs and three aces.

Smith wasn't the only good server: Abington Heights was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 25 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in October of 2024.

Abington Heights' victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Valley View, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Abington Heights will head out to face off against Pocono Mountain West at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Valley View, they will be playing at home against Elk Lake at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
