The Sissonville Indians will be playing at home against the Nitro Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Sissonville will be strutting in after a win while Nitro will be coming in after a loss.
Last Tuesday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Sissonville beat St. Joseph Central 49-45. The win made it back-to-back wins for Sissonville.
Among those leading the charge was Kynadee Britton, who scored 25 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 blocks. That makes it two consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Sissonville's points. Another player making a difference was Makinley Britton, who scored 11 points along with 6 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Nitro was the victim of a tough 69-46 defeat at the hands of East Fairmont on Saturday.
Nitro's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Karson Jones, who scored 16 points along with 9 rebounds, and Hailey Newsome who scored 9 points along with 8 rebounds and 5 assists.
Their wins bumped Sissonville to 2-0 and St. Joseph Central to 1-2.
Sissonville strolled past Nitro in their previous meeting back in February by a score of 40-26. Does Sissonville have another victory up their sleeve, or will Nitro turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
