Eli Bowman, Smithsburg's leader in stolen bases on the season, led the team again on Thursday. Bowman wasn't messing around, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. The matchup was his fourth straight with at least one stolen base.

Bowman and Smithsburg will head out on the road to square off against Brunswick at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Leopards have some work to do to even out the 1-9 series between these two since March of 2019, but a win here would be a good start.
