The Campolindo Cougars had to hit the road for their first game and sadly it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a hard 53-39 fall against Vanden on Tuesday. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Campolindo in their matchups with Vanden: they've now lost three in a row.
Despite the defeat, Campolindo had strong showings from Tim Smith, who scored 8 points along with 8 rebounds, and Dylan Mansour, who scored 10 points along with 7 rebounds. Luke Devine was another key contributor, scoring 6 points.
Campolindo's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Vanden, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
Campolindo will take on North at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Vanden, they will face off against Branson at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.
