This season hasn't been kind to International Studies, who are still winless after their fourth contest. They were dealt a 84-26 defeat at the hands of Goleman on Friday. International Studies was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-15.
It was another big night for Albert Guerra, who scored 30 points along with five rebounds and five steals for Goleman. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Guerra has scored all season. Anthony Otero-Puriaman was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with three steals.
International Studies bumped their record down to 0-4 with that defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Goleman, their win bumped their record up to 5-8.
International Studies will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Carol City at 7:30 p.m. on January 16th. As for Goleman, Goleman and Hialeah Gardens will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 16th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. One thing working in Hialeah Gardens' favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season.
