Loyalsock Township. moved up to 231 from 302 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Heartland II. The Lancers climbed the ranks as a result of beating Mount Carmel 34-27.
Montoursville extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Hughesville, 41-0. The victory was the fourth in a row for the team.
Loyalsock Township.'s offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Kyle Datres threw for 152 and 2 touchdowns and Philip Krizan had 126 yards receiving. On the ground Robbie Klein contributed 128 yards.

Zach Wasilewski provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Carmen DeFrancesco's team lost to Loyalsock Township. He completed 12 passes for 164 yards and also ran for 84 yards. Wasilewski's favorite target this week was Mike Gilger, who caught 4 passes for 85 yards.
Krizan was the best receiver in Heartland II this week as the Lancers defeated the RED TORNADOES.

The Lancers' Datres and Krizan have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Datres has thrown for 705 yards this season, while Krizan, a 6-foot-1 receiver, has 24 catches for 343 yards. Cameron Ott from Montoursville leads the league in rushing with 481 yards.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when J.C. Keefer's team takes on the RED TORNADOES. The Warriors are currently in first, while Mount Carmel is in third.
Montoursville took down the Spartans 41-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
