The Columbia Academy Bulldogs fought the good fight in their overtime match against the Grace Christian Academy Lions on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell to the Lions 57-53. Columbia Academy was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Grace Christian Academy apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.
Despite the loss, Columbia Academy saw an underclassman step up: Haley Collins scored 18 points along with two steals. Charley rae Hutchison was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with seven rebounds.
Columbia Academy's loss dropped their record down to 10-14. As for Grace Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 14-7.
Columbia Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Grace Christian Academy also has no future games currently scheduled.
